At Stanley Grove Academy, all Year 6 pupils have aJunior Leadership role in school. Children apply for these roles and have an interview before they are allocated for a role where they will drive improvements and support other pupils in this area.
We also have a Head Boy and Girl and a Deputy Head Boy and Girl. These are pupils who have been chosen by the staff to represent the school in this role.
Junior leaders have a professional meeting with the Head Teacher every fortnight which is minuted. They have a work day, where they complete tasks to enable them to be successful in their role and help the school to continue to strive to accomplish great things. We are extremely proud of our Junior leaders, their hard work and the difference thy make in the academy.
Junior leaders also work with subject leaders, lead assemblies, organise events and present to visitors.
