Our Early Years  Practitioners:

Miss Stewart is the nursery class teacher and your child's Key Worker.  A key worker  provides a link between home and school .

Ms Smith is the full time nursery teaching assistant .

Why is nursery important ?

Nursery is an important time in your child's life . It is a time when they become more independent and begin to make their own choices . They may make a special friend , excel at a particular subject or discover they can do something that they thought they couldn't ! It is an exciting start to their preschool years which in turn leads them onto a good start at full time school .

Do you offer all day places ?

We offer the chance for children to stay for lunch or extra regular sessions at an additional cost to parents as well as the extra 30 hours Government scheme.   For more information please contact the school office.

Assessment and Progress

All children’s progress is assessed termly from the time they start school. An appointment can be made with the class teacher which will provide the opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress or to raise any concerns. Once children enter full-time education in Reception their progress is shared with parents at consultation evenings.

Information on link to free resources to access at home. Open the document below to scan the QR codes with camera on phone to listen to the nursery rhymes.
