Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
At Stanley Grove Academy, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and able to achieve their very best. We recognise that pupils may have a range of special educational needs and/or disabilities, and we work closely with children, families and external professionals to provide timely, personalised support. Through high-quality teaching, targeted interventions and a strong focus on inclusion, we aim to remove barriers to learning and promote independence, confidence and wellbeing for all our pupils. We believe that every child can succeed when the right support is in place.

Mrs Johnson is the school SENDCo and a senior leader in the school. She can be contacted via the school office or emailing SEND@sga.amat.org.uk
From September 2014, Local Authorities must publish information about what services for children with SEND are available and how families can access them. This is known as the ‘Local Offer’.
