At Stanley Grove Academy, every pupil belongs to a house team, each named after one of the beautiful trees on our school grounds. Our house system encourages a sense of community, teamwork and friendly competition across all year groups.

Throughout the year, children have the chance to take part in house activities, working alongside peers from different classes and ages. We also host special house events where parents and carers are invited to join in the fun and celebrate the children’s achievements.

Each house is led by a House Captain and Vice Captain, who organise their teams and track the points earned each week. At the end of each term, the house with the most points enjoys a special reward or experience, celebrating their hard work, teamwork and house spirit. The house system helps children take pride in belonging, working together, and contributing to our vibrant school community.
