Extra Curricular Opportunities

After School Clubs

We continue to offer an exciting after-school sports provision for all of our children aimed at building up confidence, resilience and perseverance. It is wonderful to see all children applying key skills, taught in sessions, to the different activities.

We offer a range of clubs over the year including Gardening Club, Young Voices, Mulitsports, Dance, Origami, Crafts, Book Club and Football. Please book in advance of attending using our booking system attached. Thank you.

After school Gymnastics and Dance club

Our children loved the opportunity to explore different forms of dance and link this to taught Gymnastic skills within the session. As such, a short performance piece was produced as class involving mat work and collaborative work with their peers.

After school Boxercise Club

A number of children are currently enjoying our Boxercise club which promotes having an active mind and body. Working with our PE Specialist, the children are working on a number of areas such as developing their fitness, body control and stamina. This is done through a range of activities and the inclusion of music.

After school Dance Club

Children from across the school are currently involved in our after school Dance club. As part of the club, they are focusing on key dance moves and inking these together to create a simple dance sequence.

Craft Club

The craft club aware having lots of creative fun. Have a look at some of our work.

Knitting Club

We have been working hard in knitting club learning how to finger knit. We have also made pom pom’s and had a go at knitting on needles but this proved a bit tricky.

We are lucky to have two wonderful volunteers who prepare the resources, help the children knit and tidy up afterwards. We really couldn’t do it without them, thank you so much Mrs Clark and Mrs Waring.

Allotment Club

The children have been working hard in the allotment harvesting brassicas, planting onions for next year and clearing some of the weeds that have grown up along the paths.

This week they helped to tidy up the the area next to Early Years. Thank you everyone.
